keithjs
I'd like to build a model of a bike that's been used on the Isle of Man TT course. The year isn't important but the more recent the better. I'm guessing there must be one in the Tamiya range? Could anyone advise what my options would be. Thanks in advance
veg
Crikey you could pretty much make most bike kits into a tt competing bike. There is a seller on eBay selling Abus lock sponsored decals for a Ducati 851 that could be one, you could go old school and look at the Manx Norton ajs 7r etc or far more modern and chose say a fireblade. there is also a Japanese website called utadesign that do resin updates. also consider if you want a bike to represent one that has competed on the mountain course you don’t just have the TT but also the Manx and Classic. id chose maybe a couple of bikes I like the look of do some research see what teams etc they’ve been raced by. TonyW
Protar did a few nice kits in 1.9 scale if an older style build took your fancy. Some of them can go for quite a price though.
