A new Mini Cooper excellent news!

Agreed!  I just saw it on Facebook, definitely one I'd like to add to my collection.

I wonder if Hasegawa have plans for an older Mini too, given some of the options in the kit?

Weird to see them still repopping the 70's tooling F-15 Eagle in 1/72nd.

Cheers,

Andre

TBH its not a bad kit, just not worth the money they ask for it these days

The ‘70s (1974) tooling is very basic: raised panel lines, low parts count, low detail, represents an early F-15A.

The 1988 kit and its derivatives have no commonality with it.

The newer kit sells for about US$13 in Japan

The 1970s kit sells for around US$7

Like the early tool F-14A Hasegawa keeps repopping as well.

Then again, at least the 70s Eagle and Tomcat included full loads of AAM's. ;)

There must be a small group of us diehard Hasegawa A-4B fans, disappointed with every hasegawa newsletter haha

Hasegawa A4B and A4C kits appear from time to time on internet auction sites

May be worth checking them out if you really can't live without one

Price tends to reflect their rarity though

Yep, I want a Hasegawa A-4B, but not for $125 USD.  I can wait another 15 years.  😁
