Toryu
That's a nice build. Those pre-war metallic birds look fantastic! I also appreciate that Dora Wings issued this new kit of a rare plane. I'm not sure if you're related with the company but I assume so. Therefore a couple of notes: The P-35 (sans A) didn't have landing lights, and the wing entry points of the gear retraction struts were protected by leather covers (not square boxes as seen on the model). Notwithstanding my comment, this is a great kit and these small issues can be corrected easily. I bought the P-43 and I'm looking forward to building it! Cheers, Michael 1
Roger Holden
......and another, very small point. The US Army didn't use shoulder harness seatbelts until 1942. This was because many of their aircraft used telescopic sights which required the pilot to lean forward and look through the eyepiece and fiddling with straps wasn't desirable during combat manoeuvres. Duncan B
It's a nice looking model. Anyone who has built the Hobbycraft kit will be looking at the fit of that canopy with envy. Duncan B
