Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello everyone … This is my very late finish to my entry in the 109 single type group build. It is the AMG 1/72 Bf.109 D-1 of Jg.102. I know the colors look off and more like RLM 71/02/65 but they are 70/71/65. Just my Ammo by mig paints are old and maybe going bad. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments or visit the build thread. https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235094124-dora-goes-to-poland/ Dennis
Pete in a shed
Very nice, we don't often get to see a 2 blader. The splinter camo is interesting in that it is very 'splintery' (technical term). It seems a more exagerated design than later marks of aircraft had. Pete

Pete Thank you, I tried to get it close to the paper drawings but its not 100% accurate. I think after some use the Germans figured it out and didn't need to get super elaborate. By the “Emil” 109’s they had it ironed out to a very basic defined pattern that seemed to work. Comparing it to say the three color patterns seen just a couple of years earlier on the SCW aircraft.

Tim R-T-C
Nice work, particularly on the sharp lines of the splinter scheme.
