Today we would like to show you the very first test-produced sprue with the conversion parts that will turn the  original Academy Ju 87G-2 kit into the Junkers Ju 87D-5 variety, all of which will be available in our 1/72 SH72448 Junkers Ju 87D-5 ‘Axis Satellites’ kit set. Some of the parts still have a bit of a flash, this will be taken care of. Except for that, we are happy with the outcome.

Who knows if there will be a variant Ju87G?

Presumably they could buy the G-1 or G-2 sprues from Academy and provided upgrade parts as they have a couple of times here, if that is the question?

From memory I think the G-2 builds up alright?

IIRC original plastic ( light grey) included in the box is actually Academy's G-1/G-2 and can be built out of the box. It just needs correct decals.

Parts in my boxing of G-1 look the same as in the picture above.

The dark gray frame is Special Hobby's upgrade parts for D.

This month's newsletter states:

Připravujeme také další přebaly velmi atraktivních modelů Bf 109E a Junkers Ju 87D Stuka.

We are also preparing more reboxes of very attractive Bf 109E and Junkers Ju 87D Stuka kits.

They write that an early Ju-87D with short wings will be available in November.

I'm wondering if they are going to release their Ju-87G kits? They have everything for it, but need other decals.

It is not clear if the nose of the D version of the Academy/SH kit is short or it is correct....a lot of discussions in the past about that.

and the question is still open ... as I understand it ... :wait:

Closed a long time ago with sufficient explanations based on Luftwaffe instructions, engine data, photos and so on - it is all easy to find.
On the other hand, those who are not convinced by the Luftwaffe documents will not even be convinced by the measurement of the surviving example of the Ju 87G.

Please take a look here (especially the comparison GIFs):

https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/72nd_aircraft/ju-87-d-g-academy-anf-fujimi-nose-length-comparisi-t9601.html

You'll have to decide which plans You believe and make an informed decision which kit's nose is more accurate.
