I ask because I'm always curious about camouflaged Soviet tanks as they are fairly rare, but look cool. Neat work, cheers T
Bullbasket
It's weathered up really well. Nice work. John.
Michael M
That's all there is on this tank. I've seen that scheme on other soviet tanks, and that's how i know what colors were used. Brown on this picture is totally wrong
Michael M
I forgot to put the picture of.... him. Somehow I don't feel the need to work on this subject for a while. If you squint and quickly look away, he even looks plausibly Cheers Mick
Model Mate
Saw your figure and thought, pretty good…. Then remembered it’s 1/48 - excellent work!
LeeM
Another question if I may. Are the wooden sticks super glued to the model.
Michael M
Yes Lee, same as the metal pins.

Michael M
Now this thing is not politically correct, but I have to finish it. It's nearly there... Cheers Mick

Bullbasket
Nice work on the paintwork of both the tank and the crewman. And the weathering is great also. John.
Michael M
Now it's just the two drunks left, plus their gear Thankfully I'm nearly there, that's not my scale. I thing this was my first and last 1/48 scale vehicle. Cheers Mick Edited July 10, 2022 by Michael M

Bullbasket
Excellent work on those figures made all the more so by the fact that they're 1/48th scale. Brilliant. John.
Michael M
Thanks, just hair, medals, belts, and stuff like that left. Compared with my normal scales 1/350, 1/700 or even 1/144 they're quite BIG, so were far more demanding. I think I'll stick to 1/72 in ground dwelling beings, 1/48 takes to much time
BKirwan
Looking good Mick . I see you changed the pose of the Tamiya peasant tanker, might I ask why ? His arms were folded or is this another figure ? Like the 2 tone scheme and I see you build tanks as fast as I build ships !!!
Michael M
Hi Brian 😀 That Tami peasant was too small, compared with these two he looked like a child This fella is from ResKit Soviet tankers set. It would have been finished long time ago, but after 24th of February I kinda lost interest.... Edited July 20, 2022 by Michael M
