hello!    I just finished this one. it was finished in about 6 days . is based on this picture of a Beaufighter navigator ready to take off

this is called "pixel art"

 

some more details about my pixel art:

 

 pixel art is kind of the simplest form of digital art, and you don't even need advanced software. you can even use microsoft "Paint" ( I usually use a free software called "grafx2")

no digital tools are usually used except for the "fill" and "line" tool, so every single pixel is placed by hand.  that's why the image looks small.  bigger canvas require an incredible amount of time!
