davecov
Another one of my "box of rivets" builds, this time the Airfix 1/72 Douglas Boston III (04033) Apart from two-ton of depleted uranium in the bomb bay to keep the nose down, it is an OOB build painted with a hairy stick. TonyW
Love it. An Airfix classic, rivets and all.

davecov
Thanks everybody for your comments. 👍 Now I have to choose my next "Box of Rivets" build..... Dave
John_W
Nice build of a pretty ancient kit. Airfix didn't use plans for their riveting, they just laid a sheet of graph paper over the mould and ran a riveting wheel along the lines...
Putty Animal
Brilliant! I would love for the original mould maker to see this. ❤️
JOCKNEY
Wonderful, brings back great memories and now really tempted to build my own. If you want something truly rivet-tastic, I recommend the original Revell Fw200 Condor. You can grate cheese on them ! Cheers Pat 2
davecov
Seen the Condor, bought it, built it, consigned it to the Kitchen utensils drawer. Dave
cngaero
An excellent build Dave. I must admit that I really do enjoy seeing these old classic kits being given a little bit of TLC.

IanC
Great job on the Boston. I'm looking forward to Airfix's re-tool. And I'd be doing that B-29 next if I had it in the pending drawer...
