[Old Viper Tester]

C-130 A97-008 of 36 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force out of RAAF Base Richmond. She was supporting the F-111C deployment to Red Flag 81-1 at Nellis AFB, November 1980.

I always  liked the  scalloped camo scheme. 

It looks  great. But I  wouldn't want to try and replicate it in model  form.

If I were to attempt it, Id pick up a pair of these scissors. They're purpose made for crafting and some versions actually cut fabric.

Nice shots Sven, 36SQN was based at RAAF Base Richmond when it operated C-130s. The move to Amberley happened when they went to C-17 operations.

Thanks. Home base location corrected above. Never did find the crew to ask where they came from, and sometimes Wikipedia is not your friend.
