supersonic Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 Hi all, for my next project i would like to choose Airfix' big Typhoon, i prefer the 1b non car door version, at present only the car door version (19003 )is available and i wonder if someone knows if the parts from the initial Airfix 19002 release is maybe included in the 19003 release so one build the later sliding hood version too? treker_ed Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 (edited) As far as I can remember the car door does not include the parts for the bubble top variant. I have both to build and from what I remember there are different sprues for those parts. It certainly does not include the bubble top canopy on the clear sprue - only the two different types of canopy needed for the car door type. I knew no bubble canopy, and did look at the review to double check the sprues, but couldn't immediately see the inserts. @supersonic No - not all the same parts - different fuselage inserts and other parts, plus the canopy - Edited October 6, 2021 by treker_ed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fishplanebeer Posted October 7, 2021 Share Posted October 7, 2021 There a few on E-Bay at present for auction with start prices between £75 and £90 but obviously no idea what they will actually end up going for as some out there clearly have more money than sense but might be worth a punt?
