Rod The Fixer Posted October 5, 2021 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Hi all, this Dora wings kit recreate the Savoia-Marchetti S.55, called "Santa Maria" which was flown by the italian aviator Francesco de Pinedo (February 16, 1890 – September 2, 1933), in 1927, with Carlo Del Prete and the engineer Vitale Zacchetti , from Elmas (Sardinia, Italy) to Arizona. I have one SM 55X from Spanish Civil War by Delta 2 on shelf and now I wait for SM 55A by Dora to do the second one in Romanian WW2 colours... When I was a teenager I saw the last remaining airframe (Jahu) in a Brazilian museum and I fell in love with it. What have you used for the water base?
