Reini78
the salt method didn´t turn out satisfying sanded off most of it again, applied some new zinc chromate primer, some new preshading using the same colours as with the recently finished Wildcat, a selfmixed blue-grey and Gunze Light Gull Grey DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0006 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr

Reini78
first and last time my dad tries wet transfers 50/50 chance getting them onto the model, you really need warm water, sometomes they don´t loosen completely from the carrier paper. When dry, the carrier film doesn´t come off in one piece but in lots of tiny pieces star decals and some stencils are form the kit, noseart and aircraft number from a Kagero Corsair book, sadly that didn´t include the pinup girl, tried to use that form HGW, white background went onto the model ok, the real girl sadly not, so don´t know what to do now.....try to remove the markings for "11" and do a different aircraft.....making the white pinup background dirty and say it is bleached out by the sun.... Thom216
Very nice progress! The weathering looks very good and great work on the lady! 😲 At that scale, the decal itself was probably not much different. I'm going to go on a limb and say his looks better than the decal would have!
Paramedic
Lovely work, COrsairs are too cool and the Birdcage is underappreciated, sometimes. Great colour choice and nice painting!
