Really nice work. From one hairy stick man to another, I doff my cap :like:

Thanks Bobby,  very kind , I do love trying to get the pest possible from the brushing and it's very relaxing too.

So tired of this.

Every time I come to Britmodeller.com I see another fanciful tale of an extremely well put together model, expertly painted and authentically weathered.  And they say, "it's brush painted."  Give me a break.  Am I to believe there is no electricity in South East Kent to run your Iwata, so you resort to a hairy brush?

Please, no sorcery with a brush, no thinning of Humbrol with any magic elixir, no matter how carefully applied coats, could render such an impressive Hurricane.

Thanks AD-4N  😄 we are the forgotten area here on the Romney Marsh,  we are still using candle light !!!

Check out my all yellow Anson in my FAA build thread to see the brushwork,  I do like to punish myself,  although it's very relaxing brushing on the paint.

Thanks

Chris

Really great Hurricane Chris !!

Nothing to add about your painting skills !!

you can be accounted for the fact that I get back to brush for some finishing....:hmmm:

Now, painting is my dreaded part of modelling...

I'm not good with an airbrush, let alone for a hairy stick !! :tumble:

Back to practise a bit !!

Congrats my friend !!

:mike:

Sincerely.

Hi all

I have been working on this lovely kit and here are the results.  Built out of the box with the exception of some Eduard PE seat belts.

I guess I must have missed something somewhere. You don't tell us which lovely kit or what scale it is.

Such a great-looking model; I must do what I've been threatening to do and brush-paint one again soon.

Thanks JRK, very kind, go on give it a go, it's therapeutic.

I did put Airfix and 1/48 in the tabs but missed the Tropical off so adding that now.

Thanks for the kind comments

Thanks,  I'm fairly new around here and had not noticed the tags.

Lovely model.
