#485. Correct engines set with the UTC Aerospace NP2000 airscrews. In details:

Set made for 1/48 Italeri C-130 kits familis.

Successful application of NP2000 propellers on Hawkeye and Greyhound deck aircrafts
caused the subsequent appearance of these propellers on the C-130H transporters.
Advantages: unification of the fleet, less time-consuming repairs, noise reduction, more predictable behavior of the aircraft during maneuvers at low speeds.
By the middle of last year, 24 units were converted.
The main part is the LC-130H of the 109th Arctic Squadron operating in tense conditions and requiring an extension of the C-130H flight life of the National Guard and USNAVY/USMC units.

48 resin parts, etched scoops of the cooling system and ventilation slots for cooling the propeller gearbox + a small decal with the manufacturer's logo, a gray shadow lurking behind all sorts of UTS Aerospace.
As always, a bilingual assembly guide and a sturdy coated micro-corrugated cardboard box with a bright, informative label.

The 1/48 Italeri C-130 ‘s have a fuselage error in that the side sponsons are the wrong size leading to a visual imperfection.
A few years ago Atack models did correction sets but trying to find a set for the early model is impossible

Are you thinking about doing those as well in future?

thanks

Lockheed C-130A. Correct engines set. In details:

Set one: # 487. Engines for the classic C-130A.

Resin parts of "short" nacelles T-56A-7/9 with three-blade propellers A6341FN-D1A (God forgive me:) ) from Aeroproducts.

Supplemented with photo-etched oil coolers outlet scoops plates and propellers gear cooling inlet louvers. The set includes a decal with propeller stencils plackards, manufacturer's logo and deicing system elements.
All parts of the set are original, in accordance with the dimensions and appearance of these on the prototype.

With previous sets for the C-130H, only the front parts of the propgear hood.

The rest of the elements are designed in a new way. Added long nacelle afts typical for A-type aircraft and authentic exhaust pipes ends.

For the decal, the laser type of printing was deliberately chosen for the sake of the flexibility of the lacquer layer. So that the elements of the deicing panels can bend around the edges of the blades without kinks.

Set two: # 487-1. The basis of the set, all the same nacelles of the T-56A-7/9 engines, but with four-blade propellers HS 54H60-91.

Propellers of the 91st series differ in appearance from those familiar to the eye of the late 54H60 series by more developed elements of the deicing system with an original cut of parts and "square" blade tips.

The new Hamilton Standard propellers saw the light of day along with the appearance of the C-130B modification, and some of the fleet of the operated C-130A was re-equipped with more progressive propellers.
In addition to resin parts, the kit also contains a pair of photo-etched plates and a small standard "wet" decals with stencils and logos from Warner Robins and Pacific Propellers.

Set three: # 487-2. The configuration of the powerplant for the C-130A , still in service todays (continental ANG units up to 81-83. Private fire services and the US forestry ministry to this day).

The set contains the same parts for the T-56A-7/9 and the HS 54H60 propellers of the later series. Complemented with photo-etching and a large wet decal with two types of technical data and four manufacturers logos.
