Some sad news folks, Paul has sadly decided to close his shop for good on Saturday 2nd Oct 2021.

 

This is due to contractual  problems with the landlord and their agents.

 

He has a sale on now but cash only.

 

I wish him all the best for the future, he was retiring soon anyhow, this has just brought it forward slightly earlier.

That is sad news - a really decent model shop, with an always unusual range of kits. Also AFAIK the only place within a reasonable distance I could get hold of Mr Hobby supplies. Seems such a shame after managing to keep going after the lockdown.

 

Didn't hurt it was opposite HMV giving me the chance to kill 2 hobby passions with one stone.

I take it his last day is Saturday? I'll try and pop over Sat morning. Not my 'local', but always sad to see a good model shop go.

Really sad to hear the news of Paul shutting up shop. I was a very frequent visitor when he was in Waterlooville but for various reasons rarely got down to Portsmouth. Paul was always friendly and helpful, putting new arrivals to one side if it was something I was after etc.

 

Anyone who pops in before he goes please wish him well from an original Waterlooville customer.

That is what he said to me, he has a 50% sale on now.
