rockpopandchips Posted September 28, 2021 Share Posted September 28, 2021 Well out of my comfort zone in this part of the forum but this is a club group build, so you get what your given..😃.The ididea I'd we all get the same kit and the rest is up to us what we do with it. Now I have a bit of reputation for taking normal car tank and aircraft kits and turning then into something very sci-fi, so just to confuse them all I'm building this one into a cafe racer....probably badly....😅  Base kit but you get a few extra parts and I will be using a mix of parts.   Going with a rapping on the exhaust and it will be shorter than standard.  Every cafe racer need a custom leather seat and a short rear subframe. And you just about make out the free flow carbs and the wide bars have gone for some direct clip ons.  And the power house and exhaust all fitted in the frame. Â A little more done, mostly the back end, this is together and I have painted the tank again and it's still not great, I just do not get on with enamel paints, so it's staying and I will flat coat it after the decals are on.Still need a rear light and I might put a battery box under the seat.
