Marlin
Hi. I got some new wheels. Last Friday I found and bought a new car. We found a 2016 Toyota RAV4 with 69.000 km on the meter. Automatic transmission, winter wheels, tow hook and by accident the "right" colour. 226 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 227 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 228 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr We are so please with it, so on Saturday we took it for a spin to the cottage to a testdrive, and to get the two rear most seat to our old car so that we have all seven seats in it when where trying to sell it. And Saturday was a very beautiful autumn day. 229 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 230 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And since it was All Hallow Saints weekend we made our own memorial place in the garden. 231 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Saturday with fine weather means that you just have to light the BBQ. 232 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Lamm racks for me and Axel, and a rib eye steak for Anne. 234 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Cooking on the BBQ in the dark season demands some additional accessories. 235 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Grilled lamm racks is always tasty. 236 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And the candle flame lit up our memorial site rather nice in the evening. 237 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr But I guess that this thread is supposed to be about Israeli F-16's. So I guess that some progress pictures are in order. Have I said that Kinetic has managed to put ejection marks on almost every part. This is the pylon for the ECM pod, complete with two ejection marks. 238 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Some more filling and sanding. At least the ECM pod from Isracast is without ejection pin marks. 239 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I've painted the wheels. 240 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And almost all parts in the wheel bay are in place, I've still have to glue in the batterybox and a preasure tank. 241 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And I painted the hydraulic arms with some chrome. 242 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr This chrome pen is one of the better additions to my tool set I've bought. 243 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr To be continued..... /Bosse

Marlin
Thanks Werner and Tobbe. This one is a 2.0l petrol engine of 152hp. The hybrids was a bit too much for my wallet. But it uses a bit less fuel than my old Avensis Verso so I'm very happy. /Bosse

Marlin
Hi, Another weekend has passed and I've had some time to build more on my Netz II. The exhaust is painted. 244 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Her I've used a new colour from AKAN, Gold tinted black metalic. I think it just right for the exhaust on an F-16 I'll do some weathering later on on it using Tamiya's "make-up" sets. I've also added the battery box and a pressure tank in the main landing gear bay. 245 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 246 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And I'd forgotten to add the wing tip missile rails. 247 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 248 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Now I've started the final assembly sequence. 249 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Hopefully I'll have this one done soon. To be continued..... /Bosse

Marlin
Hi. I've been continuing the final assembly phase on my Netz II. I've glued all control surface to the wing. 250 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And the ventral strakes. 251 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The ECM pod is in place. 252 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And two drop tanks. 253 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr So slowly, but surely, this one is on approach to the display cabinet. Marlin
Hi. During New Year's I've been doing some more work on my Netz II. I've used a set of Quinta decals on the ejection seat. 255 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I accidentally bought a set of decals for Hasegawa F-16D, when I intended to buy one for Kinetics F-16D. Nothing to worry about since I have one or two Hasegawa F-16C's in the stash, so I used the surplus seat decals on this build. Then I've added a GPS antenna on the spine. 256 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And the IDF/AF specific Netz antennas under the intake. 257 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I had hoped that this one would be finished on New Years Eve, but I must have forgotten to fix the missile rails, and the Sidewinders. So this will be the first one finished in 2022 instead of the last one for 2021. To be countinued..... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. Yesterday I decided to get my Netz II finished. So first I glued the seat to the cockpit, and then the HUD glass. [/url]258 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And then on with the canopy and ordnance in form of 4 AIM-9 Sidewinders, and it was done. 259 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 261 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 262 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Lightly armed for Air Combat Patrol duties with 4 Sidewinders, dual drop tanks and an ECM pod. 260 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 263 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr 264 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And then placed in the display cabinet. 265 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Now I've done the Netz and Netz II. 266 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Netz II now resides in the display cabinet with it's 9 siblings and a Norwegian cousin. 11 F-16's done so far, but I'll be adding some more to the collection in due course. 267 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Now I'll concentrate to get my Rafale M and Lansen done before I'll start my next project in the Bomber/Strike/Ground Attack GB on the 22nd. Thanks for looking. /Bosse
