Not much of a spot, but I've always liked them and there's not that many left around now - Ford Focus Saloon.

While at the Rally Yorkshire the other weekend , I came across this Fiesta with a boot . Didn’t know they even existed , it was LHD and being used as a recce car  , I think by an Irish crew .

Yep new one on me too. Don't care if I never actually see one though tbh....!! 🤣

Keith

Seems like it never came to Europe: China and the US as a “global car” because they like saloons more than hatches…

best,

M.

A Dolomite today. Yellow with the obligatory black vinyl roof. And wedding tapes.

Later, South of Lincoln, a large American convertible in red. Maybe 61/62. Top down, yet the driver was wearing a mask!

Over the last couple of weeks, I've racked up some interesting spots, getting better at actually registering them now, must be something influencing me. ;) :D

Coming out of Bunnings, one of the local Daddy day cares the other weekend, a couple of Cobra alikes, looking & SOUNDING fabulous. Then on a garage forecourt I was driving past something that googling confirmed as a 2005 Ford T-bird hard top, not seen that about before. A couple of photos ops produced this early 70s Cortina 2000E, someone's pride & joy, a bit tarted up for my tastes.

Cortina 2000E

& the lovely little 1981 Escort Sport that lurks about here & teases the heck out of me, 1st reported in the previous thread, finally caught it so I could snap it. :)

What a cracking pair there Steve, the Escort in particular but would be happy with either in my garage.  The Ford Thunderbird looks a bit unusual.

My Dad had a Cortina 2000E in the mid seventies. It actually was a nice drive. Nothing special in the handling department, but a nice drive all the same. His was pale blue.

Ah, memories ...

Cheers, Alan.

Four Fergies and a Fordson outside the pub (far left - Country Pub 2021) at lunchtime yesterday.

The LR90 was just along for the ride - literally.  It was being towed on an A-frame by that TE20 to act as an accommodation trailer for the rest of their family!

Wrote the wrong year, it's the top in Good Pub Guide 2021. The Royal Oak at Fritham for anyone in or visiting the New Forest.

Phew luckily no one has picked me up on my appalling Landie recognition as it’s an S- reg SIII with later screen and roof and some dodgy aftermarket arches!  😎
