Head in the clouds.
Nice build here but I do have one reservation, won't it take up most of the display space on your club table at SMW.... 1

Admiral Puff
You're a brave man, putting up all that glass at this stage of the project - if it were me, I'd have had a length of 4x2 through at least one pane by now!

Haha. No glass yet, I'd break it too. Glazing is probably the last thing I'm going to do
jhutchi
Unfortunately, my car broke down on Tuesday and I'm taking a couple of days off work. Fortunately that means that I can get on with the build which has worked out nicely. One end completed... And starting on the next part... It's quite a size but luckily it doesn't stick out too much from the house... More later or tomorrow
jhutchi
That's me done for the day. 2/3 of the walls clad, both the windows in (no glass yet) and an extra roof beam in place ready for getting the roof done as long as the weather holds More tomorrow

jhutchi
Just a small update today, I have got the roof on (and my car back!) but haven't got the pictures to update this properly. More tomorrow when it isn't dark!!

jhutchi
More progress, the sunshine has certainly helped. The roof is on, all walls except 1 have been clad and I've put some (but not all) the felt on the roof So I started to move some bits inside... And make sure there was space for the essentials... Now I have the unenviable job of clearing away all the cr@p and getting the shed filled again before back to work on Monday

jhutchi
I have glass, felt and the rest of the cladding I need and I have the weekend off so fingers crossed it'll be water tight by Sunday
jhutchi
Well, the weather has not been too favourable this weekend but I've managed to get the cladding on the last side And the rest of the glass in So not completely watertight but a reasonable amount complete due to the rain! Not much to do before I can start fitting it out inside
jhutchi
Got the roof on over the weekend and it's now watertight. Really pleased with how it's all coming along. Time to fit the inside out soon
Paul J
Nice posh doors and window! Those tools hanging on the wall are quite beefy for modelling. The filler spatula too. Hope you have enough filler to use it with. ! But it is looking grand for a scratch build. I would ha e built my own but I didn't have the materials, skill and energy to. But I did use all the interior salvaged from my previous smaller shed to insulate and line my new bigger shed.
