viper-30
It’s a jackal 1 looking at the wheels and the position of the gun ring where as they have already released the jackal 2 marked as a one ..if that makes sense
Kingsman
Box art is most definitely a Jackal 1 because of the lower position gun ring. How do model companies make such basic cock-ups?? I wonder if they might do the SF MINACITY predecessor of the Jackal, although that should be a fairly easy backdate of this kit. There is also an SF version of Coyote with a different rear body with a small crane and racks for 2 motorcycles. And then there's the Australian Coyote version with the RWS instead of the gun ring. There are a few other HMT400/600 users around the world too.
Gert Mons
I just bought this kit and will make a Jackal 1 of it, as already found out by you fellow-modellers. Is there anything I should alter to the kit to make it a more accurate Mark 1?
Kingsman
You can't make the Hobbyboss "Jackal 1" into a Jackal 1. Apart from any other differences everything behind the drivers' cab is completely different. You need to buy their "Jackal 2" kit, which is actually a Jackal 1. Hobbyboss have completely reversed them. PS. I misunderstood the question. Yes you can make a decent Jackal 1 from this "Jackal 2" kit. There are many pictures of them on the internet. Bovington has a Jackal 1 on display but that is a long way from Holland. Jackal 1s are hard to find now as they have mostly been replaced by Jackal 2s, even for training.
