Beard
I usually apply Future with a wide, flat brush over enamel paint and it goes on a treat, leaving a nice glossy surface. On the last two kits I've glossed, it hasn't worked and has refused (despite multiple things coats) to go glossy. I've done nothing different (same brush, same method, same paint) and am at a loss to think why it's happening. Has anyone got an suggestions? spruecutter96
I would suggest either age or (possibly) storage-conditions. I have read of Canadian modellers having issues with Klear. The poster had a suspicion that the Klear had frozen solid when it had been transported through the Canadian Winter. He said the finish was radically different with the new bottle. All I could suggest here is to try straining a very small amount through a very fine gauze and see if that helps remove the "cloudiness". Hope this helps.
Beard
It does help. The bottle has been open for some considerable time so it's quite likely that, like me, it hasn't improved with age. I think I'll try to filter some.
Lewis95
Alternatively, try Alclad Aqua Gloss. Leaves a fantastic finish.
