Paul J
Went for a stroll along the Goring by Sea sea front yesterday afternoon with the wife and just after we arrived I spotted this heading our way and go by. Later n he evening I learnt that G=PBYA had been at Lee on Solent and retracing the Schneider Trophy race course of 1931.
Paul J
Well. What a surprise today!! Again on a Wednesday I was going for my new weekly stroll along the sea front at Worthing with the other half when as I was about to take a scenic pic when along came a P-38 Lightning!!!! No kidding!! It appeared so quickly and before I could focus on it it get a pic it was gone. I was quite amazed at just seeing it and kind of froze with the camera in hand. No doubt it was the Red Bull owned machine and a I can think of why it would be here is it probably attended the Goodwood Revival. Am gutted I could not get a photo but the memory is there. So, can anyone confirm if it did appear at Goodwood? Cheers.
