AliGauld
What a fantastic kit this is. Any issues were of my own making and that was only a slight misalignment of the Cannon Cartridge Ejector Chute which caused a little fit issue with the wings. Everything else was a great fit. Primed with Tamiya Neutral Grey. Painted with ColourCoats RLM66, RLM 76, RLM 81, RLM 82, RLM 02, FAA/RAF Yellow, RAF Dark Green Tamiya Lacquer Red, Semi-gloss Black, Rubber Black, Linoleum Deck Brown, Dark Iron, Alclad Copper, Aluminium. Finished with a light Flory Dark Dirt wash and Windsor & Newton Satin Varnish WIP Here. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

SAT69
The color scheme caught me completely off guard. Nothing wrong with it. I just wasn't aware the real plane was ever painted like that. A very nice build and thanks for the positive comments about the kit.

This was one of the ones captured by the British at the end of the war. It was taken back for testing but only as a glider so there were no 's Cheers, Alistair
Dandie Dinmont
It's always the same isn't it? You exhaust your entire stock of superlatives during the build itself praising the superb craftsmanship, the exquisite attention to detail and the painstaking finishing and by the time you're confronted with the final article, all you can come up with is "yeah, that looks alright". So, erm, Yeah, that looks alright. Craig 🙂 1

Not a phrase I've heard before. Cheers, Alistair Kraftei was a nickname of the aircraft given by the pilots. The speed and the climb rate was something new to the flightcrews of Erprobungskommando 16 and later JG 400. Despite the high accident rate and the next to zero military effect of this aircraft pilots were often not really keen to convert back to slow propeller driven aircrafts and "creeping" along with around 600 kp/h. Test pilot Mano Ziegler wrote a book about the aircraft and its pilots. Its a good read but i am not sure if its available in english. Duncan B
First one I've seen built and it looks good. I really like that you have gone for the RAF markings. Duncan B

Something a bit different and a little less threatening. Cheers, Alistair
