Russian ordnance in 1/48 scale

Hi all,

I have the KH 1/48 Su-34 and am looking for 12 FAb-250-M54s or RBK-500-255s to fit under the MBD3-U6 MERs under the intakes.

I don't however much feel like paying the silly money Res-Kit is asking.

Does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives?

Thanks all,

Marc.

Maybe you prefer those from AM?

Or does one of the other KH kits have them in plastic form? Have you checked?

Maybe the Wanted section could be a solution then...  those weapons sets with kit included should be around in the plenty....

:)

And also wondering if the MER MBD3-U6 also accommodates the RBK-500-255s?

Indeed it looks like those big 500 kg bombs are mounted individually to the aircrafts pylons, no MER

Advanced Modeling makes some of the most beautiful resin ordinance and pylons etc. for Russian Aircraft. You get what you pay for and Kitty Hawk's ordinance was a joke.

Thanks Blue,

I got the AM bits and they do indeed look stunning and a really good deal.

not sure why you call them a joke then!  They definitely have some RBK 500 series  and some FAB 250 M54 included in their sprues. If you are not prepared to cash out for the AM parts, then they are an alternative, no? As you say, you get what you pay for!
