Marklo
Having thought long and hard on how to do the mottling I’ve come up with the idea of homemade masks, poised here along with my references for the last 4 109s. Hopefully I’ll get to painting tomorrow and we’ll see how well the mottling goes. I’ve also realised that the Italian G6AS needs no mottling and so is more or less ready for decals, which I have to make …,
Marklo
Masks worked a treat, that’s the paintwork finished. Bits and pieces and decals next.
Marklo
Props, wheels, rudders, exhausts added, to the Croatian G10 and the Luftwaffe G14 just need gear doors and antennae then I think they’re ready for decals and final painting ( both have some crude overpainting on the insignia, so I’ll do that after decals)
Marklo
Inching along. The Italian needs wheels s d gear doors, they all need RF masts and then decals/markings. Which I need to scale and print for the Italian and hand paint on the Yugoslavian and then we’re done. Might even make the end of the week.

Marklo
Luftwaffe G14 a bit further on. As are the Italian G6 and Yugoslavian G10. Whats left:- 1. Croatian G10 unmask the canopy and add the antenna 2. Yugoslavian G10 gear doors, hand painting the rest of the markings and antennae 3. Italian G6 wheels ( one missing!) gear doors (same) some home brew decals and antennae. 4. Luftwaffe G14, antennae. Aside from scratching a wheel and some gear doors not a lot left.

Marklo
Nearly there. The Italian needs some decals. I need to fit df loops to all four and run rf lines and that I think is it. Now I have just realised that my the G14 should have an Erla hood and a tall tail, which means that one of my G6 s is actually the G14 ( I think the Swiss one because the original G6 I was going to model had the earliero configuration) but at this point I think I’m just going to live with it. Although in fairness it wouldn’t be that big a job to set right hm….. Edited January 20, 2022 by Marklo

I think I’ll do a group RFI when the last two are finished as they make for a pretty eclectic group.
