**Finnished** Aircraft for V-P, Resin for Rich

Recommended Posts

Something a little different for me, i.e. Resin, Richy's favourite legal substance but something I'm still learning about.

The aircraft is part of my ongoing Finnish history lesson from my mate @vppelt68, here's the kit below:

Managed to get some Special Hobby decals off evilbay so just need a painting guide for the inside and out.

Arrrr Pat.... you know a way to a man's heart!!!!

:D Nice to see you're still have a leaning to the dark side!!

It's a nice looking model and CMR often do turn some really nice models that don't require too much work.

I look forward to following this build...as do other I expect..... see resin isn't that frightening!

Good luck with her Pat, and nice to have you along for the trip!

Sorry Rich, I lost my mum recently so I'm going to be a bit quiet on here for a while,  my apologies.

I hope to get back to this one when life returns to normal.

Cheers Pat

That's very sad to hear Pat and very understandable. I/we wish you and your family well and look forward to having you around when you are able, take care.

Sorry to hear about your mother. My condolences. My dad passed away nearly a year ago, no interest in plastic for some months thereafter. First things first, take care of yourself and loved ones.

Pat.

Evening all

Having suffered a significant mojo loss, I decided to try to get this one finished, thinking it would be relatively straightforward .....

Not clear in this shot, is the the engine is set miles too far back, now corrected !

Instrument panel soon to disappear forever !

See what I mean about the engine, and yes you are correct I hadn't noticed it till the fuselage sides were glued together !

Often mistaken for Tamiya, these kits just fall together !

Hi Pat,

so quick and so good!

That should be a big mojo injection. Good looking build and I love your painting.

Enjoy.

:yahoo: She looks very nice indeed! I'm still waiting for your advice to help me build some Scotch AF subjects for exchange. While waiting for that, I'll concentrate on the Scotch  without the AF :giggle:

Sorry V-P

I'm just finding Tartan paint really difficult to find

Really glad you like the Myrsky

cheers Pat

Hi Pat,

it scrubs beautifully!

Congratulations!

I mean, the Myrsky is a plane everybody knows about from the cradle, but I am nonetheless really impressed that you have a full set of scale plans of the bird. You obviously have great bookshops in Oban.

Super resin build!

Well done Pat you've completed her and she looks lovely!

The joys of resin models, not something you forget and it's not the easiest stuff to use to get you Mojo back but you did a great job so well done.

Now you are further down the deck path, what will your next resin beast be? :D

Great to have you along (and back) as usual Pat, hopefully you're on the path to having all your modelling mojo back as we have all missed you around here mate.
