welcome along/back pabbi.

What a nice choice a scheme as well!   Gee cairlines are popular this time, and great to see as well.

good luck with the build, think you'll have plenty of interested followers.

all the pieces now assembled except the antennas, getting the undercarriage covers on was a mess

Building with the u/c up, often seems to be the harder option :(.  This is going to look superb though, in flight :thumbsup2:

Cheers

and finished :) only my second finished model this year

many things could be better, white  under decals, antennas on top I broke and on bottom not the right one for LLE, registration only on top wing not bottom the decals only had one, no grey paint or black on propeller, no weathering....... but I am happy with it as is :)

That looks so good Pabbi, I'm liking a lot. I could be tempted with one of these in Pan Am markings, such an iconic scheme with so much aviation history wrapped up in it & sadly no longer with us. You've got me thinking now. :)

Looks great. I was going to ask how you might have tackled the wings by adding some surface detail as it totally lacks it unlike the tail planes.  I have one to do with a set of 26 Decals for a British Eagle scheme.
