ForestFan
Hi, here's one a finished a few weeks ago. Nice kit though the turret gave me real problems! Used Ventura decals which performed very well. Buzby061
Looks great in that scheme, nice restrained weathering too. Did the AM boxing in FAA colours when it came out. Pete
dov
Nice built! If you need a challenge: Wing fold... A never ending story... I did most with Wingfold. Happy modelling

dnl42
Very nice work! Where did this aircraft serve? There was a little trick to installing the turret--AM had it documented on their website, some of which is accessible via the Way Back Machine
SAT69
A very well done Avenger. It's always been one of my favorite WWII aircraft.
don f
A very nicely finished Avenger. An inspiration for me to knock the dust off one of my abandoned AM Avenger kits. Don
Mark Harmsworth
That's great. I have that kit in the stash and I'll be very happy if it turns out as good as yours. Mark
franky boy
Nice work! I built one of these about 10 years ago, it’s still one of the nicest I’ve built. Well done. James
Autle
Brilliant model in all aspects, totally agree about the turret but you've pulled it off superbly with just the right amount of weathering.

Very Nice RNZAF TBF-1c I just wish Ventura would use the correct colours (ie darker Blue) for the Roundels (it's not like they don't know these things ) One of my favourite RNZAF Schemes, a close up of the Kiwi on NZ2522 (RNZAF Official - Air Force Museum of New Zealand - Used with Permissions) NZ2522 was also one of the RNZAF Avengers that carried out "Gardening" Raids on the Japanese held Island of Rabaul - Spraying gardens used for food, with diesel and igniting with an incendiary device (Watering Cans Missing from the Ventura decal sheet) (RNZAF Official - Air Force Museum of New Zealand - Used with Permissions) After VJ Day, NZ2522 was one of a number of RNZAF TBF-1c's that were handed over to the RN Fleet Air Arm at RNZAF Station Hobsonville, early September 1945 Thanks for sharing your Model with us Regards Alan 2
