Didn't know I had toooo Just a quick catch up To get some variation in the final colour I've daubed some muck on the sides. This will be covered with a wash Although very little of the chassis will be seen I the I'd give it The Works By the way there have been reports on here of a difference in the length of the body work /chassis. I've had no such problem Wash applied and started sponging body rust Ditto. Note left wing came from another Citroen As did one of the wheels Deluxe materials applied to wings lower edges. Juries out That's it for now, thanks for looking in Stay safe Kev

Randomly spread thinned PVA and Micro balloons. This adds the rust texture and the balloons readily soak up the different rust/muck shades. 17 hours ago, Marco F. said: Thanks for the step by step pics. longshanks
I managed to get back to the bench and give the seats some attention. To my mind they looked like limousine seats so I carved out the sides to make them look tubular. The yucky orange was used to represent the old foam padding. The seats were then given a covering of tissue to give a wrinkled torn look Hope you like them Kev
beefy66
Seats are looking very shabby just as you would expect with the state of the rest of the van. Cracking job mate hope you are keeping Safe and Well. 👍 beefy 1

Pete in Lincs
I'd forgotten that I saw one of these at a pub in Norfolk last week. It had been rebuilt from a 'Dolly', so had a modern dashboard & a new chassis. Lawnmower green, it looked great. Even the seats were green!
longshanks
A quick catch up. I've done a bit more on the engine.... large gap between inside wing and bulkhead doesn't seem right . May have the bonnet partially closed Started work on the diorama i.e. barn. Using balsa scored with a razor saw for timbers, Initial coat of black to be worked on. Uprights Roof trusses Needed wriggly tin for the roof so after experimenting settled on this jig Good enough for government work I reckon. I see lots of rust colours in my future............ Hope you like it Stay safe Kev

beefy66
Nice Gov'y work there Kev I have used a similar method but using lots of cocktail sticks glued to a scrap bit of plastic that motor looks like it has had a hard life mind. 👍 Stay Safe beefy
