Almost ready to rig.  First, this is where I was, bench-wise...

And this is the new space.  If I were to turn around, you would all be witness to the depths of my madness...

@Andwil I'm afraid the nice men in the white coats will be sent for me...

Am I right in suspecting that it would show your stash looking like the contents of the average model shop (if it’s anything like mine before it went into storage).

Yes.  The bins are now empty, the built aircraft safely in their cabinets.

  • 2 weeks later...

Ok!  I am back at the bench after a longish hiatus.  I am all moved into the house (for the most part) so I can get cracking!  Let's rig the Sopwith.  First I gave it some satin varnish to protect the decals and give some scale shine.

First, here's the fishing line I'll be using.

Pretty thin stuff.

And the Tripehound on the jig.  What's not pictured are the hemostats.

I'll get at it later, after a Zoom meeting and some supper.

I'm dragging my heels here...sorry.  I have so many small things happening at the house that energy gets diverted elsewhere and pretty soon it's tome for bed, etc...

I began the rigging yesterday.  It's slow going.  The black marker I used on the monofilament didn't react well with the CA so it took a long time to cure.  Fits and starts, essentially.  But it's happening!

An interesting view...

More today.

I'm calling this one 'done'.  Not over-the moon-happy with the build, but that is mostly my fault.  I lost some of the mojo during the move and now I feel I need to put it behind me and move along.  I rigged it in the usual fashion.  Very strange rigging on this aircraft.

Looks good John, certainly a bit different in its a French markings.

As you say the Triplane’s rigging is odd, kudos for the double (flying?) wires.  I have a couple of these to build and am not looking forward to passing the rigging through the centre wing 🥺
