twinpin
Sword T2V-1 SEASTAR 1/72 This was my first short run kit and I found it very hard going. I could not get the fuselage halves together because of the lack of locators. The two cockpits and the front undercarriage bay have to be correctly positioned so that the fuselage halves can be closed around them. The undercarriage I found difficult to assemble and I had not used photo etch before and found that hard going too, most of it was not used. After all of that I decided not to go for the complicated masking of the red and white training scheme.
echen
Sounds a bit of a nightmare to build. But you built it and it looks good - and, so long as you enjoyed it, that's what counts.
SAT69
You've produced a good looking model. In spite of the difficulties, you have a model you can proudly display.
ForestFan
Nice! I’ve Built their T-33 so know what you mean about the kit having certain issues! Turns out nice though. I agree the red and white scheme would be a pain!

Spitfire31
'Per aspera ad astra', as the saying goes – 'through adversity to the stars'! Really good work to create such a good looking model out of a recalcitrant kit! Kind regards, Joachim

Wulfman
You’ve managed to build a lovely looking Seastar, I had trouble with their T-33, it’s still on my shelf of shame ! Wulfman
theplasticsurgeon
Nicely done! I built this Sword SeaStar in 2019. Similar struggles, but very rewarding.
