Pablito
Hello, This is my next maritime project ( or artillery ) . It'a a really huge part of plastic and i took me a lot of time to get ready with the paint job and weathering. I used a lot of technics like oil paints, pigments, dry brush and AK weathering pencils. I hope You like it
bootneck
An excellent build Pablito and the finish is very good. I like the way the angles are accentuated by different shades of the Kure grey. I really do like these gun/turret models and I hope more get produced. cheers, Mike
redcap
Lovely build and a 1/72 Japanese Navy figure (if any are available?) would be the icing on the cake for scale perspective. Gary
Adm Lord De Univers
Yes, now this is really nice, I really like this. The weathering is spot on, and - as Mike has said - the shades of grey are exemplary in setting off those angles. Very tempting to get a one myself. That sounds to be a good idea, if Pablito can source a figure. As an example, here is a photo of me standing under the main turret of USS Massachusetts, which is smaller than the Yamato turret. Bertie McBoatface
That's very interesting. Well built and very well painted. I struggle to visualise the size it it though, could we have a photo with a paint pot or a coin perhaps?
