Well welcome along…again, it seems like it was only the beginning of the decade ago that we were all gathered here!

 

I know there have been some very excited souls waiting for this one to start so let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first.

 

The Longboat has been readied and warmed up by Thane's Col & Reini and is already to go,  Bosse  has stocked up the pantry fired up the BBQ, so we’re already to go.

 

The rules and eligibility are nice and simple and the same as last time…… except now I get 25% of all plunder!

 

So eligible countries and builds are;

 

·       Sweden

·       Norway

·       Denmark

·       Finland

·       Iceland

&

·       Military or Civilian equipment that was or is produced in these regions that is used there or abroad.

·       Foreign uses of equipment from these countries.

·       Foreign equipment used by these countries. 

·       All foreign military equipment based in these countries is excluded, this includes deployments.

·       Plus I will allow Scandinavian motorsport drivers and their vehicles in as well.

·       Ikea Flat-packs…. there’ll always be one!

 

If you’re stuck then please ask, keep it nice a simple and it’ll be fine.

 

·       The Group Build will run from 00:01GMT Saturday 4th September to 23:59GMT 26th December.

·       The model can be any scale, as much aftermarket stuff as you like….. remember more is better.

·       All models must be less than 25% complete at the start of the build, if in doubt please ask. There is a separate gallery for those that don’t meet the requirements

·       Everyone must take a turn at rowing…no exceptions or excuses will be accepted, Col will be dishing out punishment for those who try!

·       No buying/wanted or selling in the GB please, or there will be beatings    ….. Reini loves this part!

·       A poll at the end….who knows, last time we broke it, so there’s a good chance again!!!  But just in case there’ll be an Aircraft & Non-Aircraft Gallery.

 

GB’s are all about having fun and enjoying the build no matter what your modelling skills. Those new to GB’s please feel free to ask for help if you need it, there are always plenty of members happy to help out.
