Like Icarus ascending On beautiful foolish arms - Special Hobby 1/72 Lockheed Vega 5

Right that's all the decals done. A fresh clear coat, cowling, prop, wheels and exhausts all fitted.

I had a bit of an issue unmasking the canopy as a lot of paint lifted but noting that a few coats of red and a toothpick once it dries can't sort out.

Thanks Mark,

Very kind of you.

I've just noticed I've not put the silver bit on the bottom of the landing skid. I'll sort that later.

Cheers,

Alistair

That's it done as far as I'm concerned. I really like the way she is looking and don't want to mess anything up.

Now there's an accusation that's never been levelled at me before. :drunk:

Hurrah! Popcorn at the ready!

Craig.

Could get messy but it'll be fun.

Nicely done! Following along with your build, you made it look so easy (except for the dropping it on its noggin part) that I looked longingly at the one I have in my stash, thinking it might be my next project!

Thanks very much.

I'd love to see what you can do with this without dropping it.

Cheers,

Alistair
