Ratch
Hinton-In-The-Hedges accommodated 104 Sqn FV-*/KQ-*/OY* and 108 Sqn SL-*/XD-*/XJ-* flying the Bristol Blenheim I. These squadrons merged to form No 13 Operational Training Unit from 27 November 1940 until 23 August 1942. Initially training Blenheim crews for daylight operations, its role was later extended to include night intruder training. 14

TheyJammedKenny!
Nicely done Blenheim! Interesting that the OTU's aircraft are "dressed out" as fully combat-ready, complete with night-painted undersides. The hangar is a nice touch, too. Scratchbuilt, I take it? dov
It is a wonderful built! One suggestion: Use of little more flat varnish for the underside. Flat. I had trouble over years with this matter. Until I found Gunze GX 112, 113 and 114. Check it out! Happy modelling P.S. in your case 114 heavily dilluted a just a tiny spray over.

Gunze is not readily available here. for this one I used Vallejo 27.651 with a drop of Klear and brushed on. Are you saying it's too glossy? dov
To my personal opinion yes, too glossy. It is a matter of looking at an real object, or äquivalent object, or in our case restored object, or original pictures. For every picture I have a procedure today. To sort out all clean parade like aircraft. Using ops pictures only! Maybe 25 years of experience may help! Happy modelling
Ratch
Restored examples are notoriously wrong, and I have yet to find images of 13 OTU aircraft.
