Tamiya 1/24 Porsche 956 engine question

hello

attached is photo and arrow of the oil cylinder .The part indicated is not included in the kit yet i see images of the completed kit with the missing part . In the instructions it shows a vague description of where the part goes attaching a hose to it but the part is not there .Can someone explain https://flic.kr/p/2mjoXrG

What you're referring to is the Filler for the Oil Reservoir Tank.

 

It is part C15 in the kit and installed in the last step of the instructions and aligns with a hole on the left side of the engine cover.

 

It IS included in the kit. Top-right of this sprue pic:

More obvious is the omission of the rear brake cooling ducts. They should fit onto parts 14 and 19 above (in the vee-shaped grooves shown) but are certainly not in the kit. The Tamiya 956 is a clunky thing but can be made to look OK with a lot of work. I'm not sure if any aftermarket is available to help you along the way but I recall making the brake cooling ducts myself and never being really happy with the result.
