Rob de Bie
I visit the local university library from time to time, usually to check out obscure old books. Yesterday I found this one, that surprisingly contained four large fold-out drawings, plus smaller drawings on the text pages. I photographed one. The drawings and text describe a Bleriot, but no model type or year is listed. Now before you ask: the drawings are too big too scan on my A4 scanner, and I can't make them lay flat to photograph. I would suggest trying to find the book if you're deep into Bleriots. Rob 5
europapete
Maybe your local copy shop can make large copies for you, or scale them down to whatever scle you wish. Our local Staples store and Fed Ex store can do that. Some libraries can do too
Rob de Bie
Thanks for the scanning tips. I should have made it clearer that I have no intention of building a Bleriot model - I just wanted to notify Bleriot fans of the find. I just found a largely similar drawing set here, in imperial units. Scroll down to halfway the page: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/62973/62973-h/62973-h.htm Many drawings are better then in my old German booklet. dnl42
Thanks for pointing these out. I do find these very old books on aeronautics to be quite fascinating, particularly as the knowledge of aerodynamics developed and matured.
