Luka
Here's my recently finished Grumman F9F Panther. Although the HobbyBoss box states it's a -3, it's actually an F9F re-engined to -2 standard. This beastie flew from USS Essex in 1952. noelh
That's a fine neat build of a handsome jet. 👍
SAT69
Very well done! I've always thought the Panther was a good looking airplane.

Luka
Thanks all! The bridges at Toko-Ri indeed has some nice footage of real Grumman Panthers in action, re-enacted over my building desk at several stages of the kit's construction.. 10 hours ago, billn53 said: That looks great ! How was the HobbyBoss kit to build? Thanks! The HB kit is pretty easy to build and is nicely detailed, just don't forget to add some nose weight, as it doesn't mention this in the instructions! The kit is a bit of a mix between several types; the box says -3, the decals are for a converted -2, and the plastic is actually more for a -4. The biggest point however is the kit's canopy; the frame between the windshield and the moving part is at the wrong angle. Although easily overlooked/ignored, I fixed the issue with a vac replacement from Rob Taurus CZ.
