sofiane1718
So a rebox of this one I presume, with things to accomodate an "F" version, whatever they are? : https://www.scalemates.com/kits/tarangus-ta7201-saab-j29a-b-tunnan--197100 Edited August 16, 2021 by sofiane1718

The F version has a different wing with saw tooth leading edge and a bigger, longer rear fuselage to accommodate the new afterburner engine. So their will need to be some very different major parts in this release.
Parrahs
Let's see if they can kick things up a notch in general towards, say, where the Special Hobby Viggen ended up instead of the very short run-y style of the old kit. Still, even if not it'll be nice to have an F available from them.

Regarding the viggen I suspect that it was Special Hobby who wanted the kit to a higher standard then the Tarangus other releases.
Homebee
Source: https://www.tarangus.se/2021/08/24/tarangus-releases-a-brand-new-saab-j-29f-tunnan-in-1-72/ Quote The Saab J 29F Tunnan was the ultimate version of Sweden’s first truly competitive jet design. With an afterburner developed by Volvo Flygmotor and sawtooth wings, this version of the Tunnan served in the Swedish Air Force until 1976. In the last years as a target tug. The Tarangus kit is brand new and all plastic, no more difficult resin parts as in the previous Tunnan kit, which was very popular and sold out real fast. With crisp details, great fit and overall a very fun kit to build, this is probably our very best short run kit to date. It’s made in a limited quantity so hurry up and get yours now! V.P. Homebee
Released: https://shop.tarangus.com/front-page/saab-j29f-tunnan-172 A test build - ref. TA7206 - Saab J29F Tunnan Source: https://www.facebook.com/tarangus/posts/281225440478718 Quote We test-built the new J 29F Tunnan before delivery. This time under time contraint (4 hours) using only glue, a carpet knife and packing tape! Still came out really nice, what do you think? V.P.
