@VG 33 built an excellent Revell model of this aircraft for the 2019 Phantom GB

201 have a fantastic paint job! so hard to find good decals and kits for Israeli Phantoms.

On that note, Zoukei-Mura have a form for messaging their development team which they read and write back to. I sent them a message asking them to produce an Israeli Phantom kit. They send a very nice reply basically saying it's something they'd "like to challenge for" but no plans to do one in the near future. A few more people reaching out asking for one may make them consider it more seriously.

Some curiosities with this kit:

Square holes above the exhausts for the flare-launchers - but nothing inside.  Those holes now filled.

A huge square hole in the Stbd nose - no idea what that was for.  But there is a part to fill the gap.

Four different types of upper fin, with different sensor fits.  My books don't show authoritively - so I copied that of @VG 33 model.

Anyway some more recent progress.  Major components being readied.

And now assembled.

Looking like a Phantom.

Are you building a “Toad” ? one of the “operation nickle grass” aircraft?, if so they where all later block aircraft with slatted wings.

if you are building an first batch delivery 1XX series IDFAF F-4E, the correct underside color is 35622 = Humbrol 122.

No.  Those aircraft are described on my markings instruction sheet, but I've built 3 SEA camo Phantoms previously.

This aircraft will be Israeli desert camo, and was shot down by Syrian AAA on 13 Oct 1973.

This is how I do canopy interior framing.  Very thinly sliced black insulation tape for the edges and sills.

Very well pressed down.  Then a final wipe, to remove fingerprints - ONLY handle by tweezers from now on.

Infill any gaps with black paint,  and allow to dry in the afternoon sun.

This picture shows a slighly flat profile atop the canopy, something that I noticed on the nose as well.

One last look at the interior detail - before I fit the canopy. Now with HUD, and face-curtain handles.

Finally canopy fitted.

Followed by airbrushing Humbrol 121 sand onto upper surfaces.
