I even have a gendarme that looks rather like officer Crabtree. I am thinking about having him writing a parking ticket. 2

These are just a few I can think of , it's been a while since I've been near one. Philippe 1

I am a bit tempted by Le Rouge et le Noir... 37 minutes ago, Admiral Puff said: Le Bruce (there won't be another like it ...). Or maybe Le Sheepdip. Hah! Le Sheepdip! How about Trempe des Moutons? Hmm, can anyone of you French guys tell me if that works? Thanks guys, you are giving me things to think about that I wouldn't have come up with on my own! I assume you are referring to Edith Piaf. A very interesting thought actually, it would certainly play up the poignancy of the scene I am presenting here. The phony war is just about to end but nothing has really happened just yet.. Hmmm. I hadn't really thought to that depth. I was just planning on making a couple of terrible jokes and showing off a tank model. I shall definitely have to consider this further. Thanks 8 hours ago, PhoenixII said: @Tzulscha and here's your bar sign! Heh, that's good. I wonder what a retro thirties version of that would look like? I'll bet someone out there has done it. I hate to think what kind of google rabbit hole THAT would turn out to be! 1 hour ago, Corsairfoxfouruncle said: There is a bar in the suburbs of Chicago called “The Thirsty Frog” so not far off on your artwork. Never heard of that one, but I have been to Hugos Frog Bar and Fish House. Big silver buckets of fried frogs legs and fried fish and chips. Artery hardeningly delicious!
