P40F of 79FG 1/48

Hello, everyone. 
Finally, after a long time, I was able to finish this project. Maybe a few of you remember my post of this kit on the MTO group build.  But I never had a chance to complete it on time. Nevertheless, finally, it is done. I used as base the Hasegawa kit.  1/48 scale  P40E, and added resin nouse from AMT and PE set from Eduard. The most challenging was to combine resin nouse with the kit.  I spend countless hours applying super glue and sending it after.  This fighter is from USAF of 79th FG  Tunisia 1943. I used Mr. Hobby paints, wash, and weathering was done by oil paints.

that turned out perfect! Very nice weathering and a superb color sceme with very interesting decal version. 
Thx for sharing, normally the P-40 is not one of my favorites, but may be you change my mind.
