Milan Mynar
Today, I start a new project. Russo Balt, a model of an armored car from the First World War. Made by CSM in 1/35 scale. The parts of the model look beautiful in the box.

Model Mate
This looks nice - it would make another good scratchbuild subject for me! Youve done some very neat work so far, and I'm impressed by the triple leaf spring arrangement at the back - clever!
Kingsman
I didn't even know this kit was available yet........ Another good looking one from CSM, and they still have a long list of yet-to-be-released early ACs. What's the marque name on the radiator grille? Milan Mynar
The marque name on the radiator grille is the Russo-Balt. Today painting of the interior.

Bertie McBoatface
I just found this topic. The Russo-Balt is a very interesting car. I like the sliding armour plate around the guns. There are many very fine parts in the kit but I see you have built it well.
Ade H
Got a few bits of pre-shade which could do with tidying up there.
Maginot
Good progress. Looking forward to the next layers of paint. What a good-looking kit. I'm quite taken with the subjects CSM has chosen to model. I have one in the cupboard wrapped in cellophane that I have not yet opened, so I am happy about the quality you report in this kit. Milan Mynar
Painting , I use a combination of Tamiya XF-4 and XF-58 colors in a ratio of 1/1, so I get something like Russian green. Later I add a little white or yellow to this color, then I tint large areas.

Milan Mynar
The building of the model of Russo-balt is slowly going to finish. Building of the model of the Lanchester is still in progress.
Bullbasket
That's a cracking little model of an unusual subject. Just read all the way through this thread and the kit does appear to be quite impressive, as is the work which you have done on it. Great job. John. Maginot
What a good result. Nice pairing with the Lanchester. There's something pleasing and intriguing about the form of WW1 pattern armoured cars, I reckon.
