Early, Finished as a Daimler Benz built vehicle. Panther A (II01) Hauptman Euler. Stab II Pz. Rgt. 23. Kampfgruppe Bäke, February 16. 1944. Korsun Breakout, Cherkassy pocket. The vehicle is finished with Vellejo paints, Windsor & Newton oils, and a lot of sweating after couple of disasters. Three photos of the actual vehicle, with Hauptman Euler. And the finished vehicle. And, next to me S.Pz.Abt 502. Tiger I, at Narva. Thanks for taking the time to look !! Lee. The Cherkassy Pocket was pretty brutal, and more reading can be found here.... https://historyimages.blogspot.com/2012/04/battle-korsun-cherkassy-pocket-1944.html Hello Lee Thanks for the great original photos and the link. Your model is really top notch and as is often the case with Zimmerit, does not look over weathered. Chipping is perfect and the colour variation with the camouflage on the engine deck makes it not a big white blob. Congratulations! MD

Thank you for resurrecting this one Pretty sure that this was last model I completed. Things have stayed rather busy at work, and a change in my kids swim team, now an hours drive to practice each night. Thanks for the kind words and support Lee.
Lazy Modeller
That's a very nice build you've got there! Really nice. The only thing I don't like is the rear of the tank with no winter cammo. I think even a little there would break that. Sorry for commenting, but I always tend to point what I dislike, and I want that done with my builds also. Anyway Congratulations for the real nice work! Cheers LM

sanfrandragon
Really nice build; snow camouflage looks really difficult but yours is great and the weathering is just right. Would love to see some figures on the back emulating the first wartime photo!
