Airfix Beach Buggy re-issued

I just found out that this 1/32 scale Beach Buggy kit has been re-issued.

 

I recently enjoyed building the VW Beetle, so will definitely be getting one of these.

 

Is there anything to suggest that this could be the start of some of the Airfix Classic Car range being re-issued?

 

I'd love to do some of those old 50's 60's 70's cars

Well, the Maserati Indy was re-released last year and the Jaguar 420 is coming out later this year, so I would say so, yes. Roll on the Bond Bug...

The Maserati has been removed again from the Airfix website but the Jag 420 is still there.

That's a bit of a shame about the Maserati, it is a good little kit.  I guess it might come back in the future.

Best buy re issues from Airfix when you see them. (unless of course you wish to wait for 10 years or more for it to come around again). The beach buggy I think has not seen light of day since it was first issued way back in the 70's.
