Different kit altogether! OK, thanks. I thought they were the same.
exdraken
decals are on! the old ESCI kit decals did not disintegrate, and behaved rather ok! the ejection seat warning triangles need a white background, or you source others.... thanks for watching! exdraken
I will prepare pylons and missiles..... Matra Super 530F at least length-wise they seem ok. in real life the should be 3500mm long blue or red? which Magic missile would you recommend for an inert show round?
Colin W
Looking good Werner. A challenging paint scheme from all aspects!
exdraken
a bit on the slow side lately, but I found a pair of suitable Matra Magic II missiles this is form an old FM set for upgrading the Mirage F1... of course the Eduard Brassin missiles have long surpassed these molds shape-wise they are rather ok though! but those here are probably more suitable for conversion to the red inert ones, sometimes seen on the M2k prototypes
exdraken
that is how a FM missile looks assembled: for sure state of the art 20 years ago, a bit crude and irregular fins especially for 2021 nevertheless, they look ok proportionally, something that cannot be said for many Magic missiles out there! (Eduard Brassin and Reskit come to my mind ..) she is on her feet finally! got her long Master pitot nozzle fits, that is good! but still needs some more painting pylons mounted missile resting test-wise
Bertie McBoatface
Very smart. I thought for a second it had a M&S label on the side but no, M53! 1

exdraken
by the way, anyone knows if the M2k prototypes had the DEFA guns fittet? Thanks!
exdraken
not too much action here in this thread unfortuantely, but I neverthess post an update. (final?) small things to do, some pitos to mount, re-attach the second Magic.... etc but had to take her out in this splendid Autumn light!

alt-92
Funny how that long tail makes the 2000 look more graceful than the more muscled appearance of the production variants Nice one Werner 👍
