Sture Carlsson
In Squadron Signal booklet F-86 Sabre in color, on page 29 there is a black and white picture of an F-86H. Text says decorations are red and white checks. Special hobby F-86H kit ( SH 72120 ) has the same aircraft ( 22109 ) as boxart showing decales with green and white checks. Anyone here who knows which decorations that are the right ones? Another question. Did F-86H have the same type of wheels as other Sabre versions? Sabrejet
52-2109 was indeed a 34th FDS machine and the checks should be red/white. The F-86H featured different nose-wheel to other types of F-86 but I'll need to check for the mains.
