You`ve done a superb job Chris,...... the paintwork looks just right too,..... what can I say,..... looks the bee`s knees pal!

Cheers

Thanks Tony, very kind of you to say, your magazine article on this kit was one of the inspirations for me getting this kit.

The manufacturers should give you commission  fella.

Thanks Tony that does mean a lot .

Top notch, I have never heard of this kit but you have made a beautiful Firefly from it!

Thanks Vulcanicity, that's very kind, it's  a cracking kit and has some fantastic,  no  amazing details on the resin inserts for the cockpits and undercarriage bays. Panel lines are a bit deep but that suits me and brush painting.

Thanks everyone for your generous comments

Excellent work Chris beautiful paintwork, another aircraft I'd love to see a new tool from Airfix.

Thanks Steve, very kind too, oh yes a new tool from Airfix,  that would be great, imagine a 24th scale one too, ease Airfix if you see fit to do either scale, that would be wonderful , also can I also request a 24th scale Tigermoth.

Please!!!

Thanks guys

Brush painted? Seriously? Brush painted? I am selling all my airbrushes! What an amazing build, and I can't top or add to what the others have said. If @tonyot, the Grand Master of the Hairy Stick liked it, then you have truly done something awesome! :worthy:

😃Thanks Mike I love the painting stage of any model  it's very relaxing,  Tony is a great Brushpainter and was so pleased when I saw him on here when I joined, after seeing his work in print,  it was great to see them build up and his paint techniques.  I have never used an Airbrush although I located one I got as a freebie a few years ago with a Model Railway subscription, when sorting out the garage couple of weeks ago.  It's an Iawata jobbie, but it's all still in its case, maybe I will see how it works one day, but enjoy the brush painting too much.

Great job on a tricky kit, really nice work

Thanks Russ   kind of you to say too. I did look at yours for inspiration as well as Grey Beema's too  both were very lovely models and it was very handy to look at as the painting instructions in my kit were a bit hard to differentiate the camouflage pattern/demarcation.

So thank you to you and @Grey Beema for helping too.

Thanks everyone  for your kind comments
