Beautifully built and painted model. How did a bomber end up in a Pursuit Squadron within a Pursuit Group? That's a puzzler for me.

I wondered that too - and according to the listing for the kit on Hannants website, it was a squadron hack;

 

"USAAF, B-10B coded 138, hack of 17th Pursuit Sqn, 1 st PG, Selfridge, MI, USA."
