fatalsky
Hello, My Lancaster project is coming closer to an end which leaves me with the varnish before the decals. I've tried out the AK interactive semi gloss spray can on a model but I find it really glossy and it looks a bit like an orange peel effect to me? https://pin.it/4PqtziS https://pin.it/5G7G8yW Not Sure if the link works to my photos? Am I doing something wrong like spraying too thick or too close or too far away? (Temperature outside is around 25 ⁰C) I don't have the matt varnish spray can yet but would it fix things? Greetings, V.

ckw
Don't have a Pinterest account so can't really see, but generally orange peel is a result of too heavy a coat. Multiple very light sprays are better than a heavy spray. A matt coat won't remove orange peel, but it will remove the shine. You might try a very gently sanding with 3000 grade paper, but of course there will be a risk of damaging the underlying paint. The correct Pledge is 'Revive It' Cheers Colin
